Physics 12: Vector Kinematics, Vector Dynamics, Vector Momentum, Energy, Work, Momentum, Static Equilibrium, Circular Motion & Gravity, Electrostatics, Electric Circuits, Magnetism and Electromagnetism. Our Physics tutors are fully equipped in assisting your kids with the following courses: Our strategy is to cover the material at least three to four times, so that those in the class have the knowledge reinforced. We strive to add a dash of fun to every class, by using live apparatus to demonstrate what we are teaching, increasing engagement. We design our elementary and high school physics lectures to be in line with the up-to-date BC Math curriculum, and ensure that our tutors are fully-versed in the required materials and concepts, spanning all grades. In education, students in Grade 7 Science typically pick up the basic concepts, and then build on them to reach the more advanced levels. It is arguably one of the most fundamental subjects one could study, and should be a source of wonder. Physics, as the name suggests, is about understanding physical reality - the world around us and the forces that shape it. Math 1-10: Elementary Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra and Geometry.Pre-Calculus 11: Series and Sequences, Trigonometry, Quadratic Functions, Quadratic Equations, Radical Expressions, Absolute Value Functions, Reciprocal Functions, System of Equations and Inequalities.Pre-Calculus 12: Transformations, Conics, Radical Functions, Polynomial Functions, Exponential and Logarithmic Functions, Trigonometry, Rational Functions, Permutations and Combinations.Ĭalculus: Limits and Continuity, Derivatives, Applications of Derivatives, Integration, Applications of Integration, Integration Techniques. Is your kid struggling with Math? Get in touch with us and benefit from our unique and proven teaching methods. Last but not least, this process is fast, compressing 3-4 years of study into just 12 months! Using this approach, we had a Grade 7 student successfully complete Pre-Calculus 12! They also keep students interested by making the questions relatable, using real-life situations and using real-life objects. When you teach in this way, we've found that students not only progress faster, but actually learn to love Math instead of fear it! Our tutors make the complex simple, bringing questions back down to earth and breaking them into solvable pieces. Our approach? Start from the fundamentals, and help students to develop problem-solving skills, rather than just memorizing formulae and methods. This has a cascading effect that makes it harder to progress in later years. The reason it often is regarded as such, is because of less-than-adequate support in earlier learning years. We believe that Math does not need to be a source of panic or despair. It is a key part of any high school or elementary curriculum, and is vital for success. Math is loved by few and dreaded by many, and it is also needed by all. His students enjoy learning in a structured yet relaxed atmosphere, and learn in a way that lends itself to application in the real world, and solving real problems. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia (UBC), and thanks to this training, he is able to teach Math, Physics, Chemistry, and Calculus with the benefit of practical experience. His professional background is in Engineering. Hundreds of students have now benefited from these ideas. Classmates and younger family members would often bring difficult problems and concepts and ask him to help them, and as he did so, he discovered that there were techniques to teaching that could be perfected and passed on to others. His teaching career started when he was still a young student. His track record as a tutor has increased his beliefs in this regard, and his mission to uplift students remains the same. Since founding OOTB in 2010, Jagjit has maintained his perspective that success is within reach of every child, provided they have a good teacher, the right learning approach, and good resources to work with. The driving force behind Jagjit and his work is passion: passion to raise the students of today to the future he knows they can achieve.
